There's a number of ways it could happen, but regardless you find yourself standing on the outskirts of a city. A beautiful city, as familiar to you as any from your world, with all manner of buildings within sight. A sign on the side of the road greets you, saying WELCOME TO COBA You're already part of the family! It's practically inviting you to step into the city limits. Why don't you? As soon as you do, you'll find a pamphlet in your hand, almost eager to tell you all about what this mysterious Coba has to offer. And eager seems to be the impression you get about almost everything - the sun seems to brighten, the flowers seem to perk up - it's almost as if everything about Coba is welcoming you as an honored guest. And you are. Though hopefully, only temporarily. Coba would love nothing more for you to become an honored member of her precious community. Welcome to Coba, visitor, and we hope you enjoy your stay! Your character has found themselves in Coba, and are welcome to do any of the following: ● As you enter the city, you hear some bustle about a homecoming party! Following the signs will find yourself at a plaza with food, drink and live music, of all sorts and types. Why don't you stay awhile and indulge? ● Or, if you're not the party type, maybe you'd like to check out the city's cultural center! There's art, books, and other things to keep your mind occupied. And, maybe you'll meet other like-minded people there. ● Not in the mood for any of the above? There's always the beach! It's a lovely day, the waves are beautiful and the stores along the boardwalk all have signs up that read "TAKE WHAT YOU NEED". Maybe you need a surf board. ● Or maybe you have something else you want to do? Go for it! You're more than welcome to come up with your own prompts. In addition to the above, we would love to encourage anyone taking part in the testdrive to world build with us! Whether it be a street name or an entire neighborhood, whatever you come up with will become part of the game's canon. All we ask is that you pop over here to link us so we can see what you've done! [At the party, Rise happened to be getting food at the same time as the black-haired girl, carefully judging the amount of barbecue she could get without spending too much time cleaning herself up afterward.]

Oh! Sorry if I'm in your way.

[She looks closer, and her eyes go wide.]

That's...High Pixie, right? How is that...are you a Persona-user?

[Rise is terrible at keeping magic secret, but she figures that doesn't really matter anymore anyway.]

[And Nagi doesn't really see the need to keep it a secret. Or at least there's no reason to at home, save around civilians. If this other woman can see her Pixie though, she's certainly no civilian.

Her terminology needs work though, the summoner decides.]

Persona?

[Clearly, this is the way to get someone not to ask to many questions.]

What is she, though, if you don't mind me asking? A real fairy?

A demon.

[Nagi admits as much nonchalantly. The High Pixie herself waves cheerfully all the same, even as Nagi frowns a little. The other woman is skirting around the issue of terminology and while she wants to question her, it seems rude to grill a new acquaintance on such a minor thing.

... Well, maybe not minor but still. The summoner is awkward enough with new people anyhow.]

While I cannot theorize as to what a Persona may be, it's still rare that others can see her at all.

[She shoots the High Pixie a grin.]

But yeah, I have kind of a specialty in seeing the supernatural. I'd worry about admitting that, but we're in some kind of shapeshifting interdimensional city right now...

... In theory I assumed this must be another dimension. It seems... rather normal for that theory however.

[For the most part anyhow. It didn't have the feel of some areas she had been dropped into or wandered into anyhow.]

Demons come in many types and sizes. It is unfortunately faulty conjecture to assume one's appearance makes them a demon or not.

Not that it's a bad compliment though!

Well, I'll have to keep that in mind. Is High Pixie a nice demon, at least?

[Rise's expression falls a bit when she goes on explaining.]

I guess I've seen two alternate dimension things before. One pretty much changed to reflect the people in it, which is what I guess this one is doing, and the other was the Mediterranean vacation from Hell.
