[Tyler's certainly never seen this guy around, but hey - it's a street party, worse things have happened than a random conversation.]

I'm starting to think every day's a party with this place. [He says it almost fondly, which is rare for him.] First the parade, now this... Makes you wonder what's next.

Depends on your definition of "surprise." [He makes a face, though it's hard to tell if it's from the thought or the sip of lemonade he just took.]

A parade at 9 AM wasn't my idea of a wake-up call.

Nah, just super loud. [His werewolf senses didn't help much.] You didn't really didn't miss much, unless you like crowded city streets that won't let you get anywhere.

I don't mind it. You can learn a lot, and meet new people. It can be fun.

Sure, I learn a lot, but it usually ends in misery.

Mm, large parties back home usually ended with dead people. I've been keeping an eye out, but it looks normal so far.

Nah, just drinking parties. The kind with underage drinking and one too many beers causing an accident...

[Well, the thought sobers him up, that's for sure.] Sometimes, I think I lived in one of those "public service announcements."

Yeah, I have no idea what that is.

[Headtilt.] Where I'm from, there's this dumb limit. You've gotta be 21 before you can legally drink.

But most people like me ignore it soooo.... ["Bad things happen."] We get things like public service announcements. Those are things designed to teach us lessons like "wait until you're 21 to drink."
