[OPEN/CLOSED] I'm here again, a thousand miles away from you
WHO: Siri Tachi and OPEN; Siri Tachi and Obi-Wan Kenobi (CLOSED)
WHEN: Day 7, early morning; Day 10, evening
WHERE: Around the City
WHAT: Siri can’t sleepfor REASONS, so she’s exploring the City.
Day 7
Tossing fitfully, Siri reached out to the other side of the bedwhere Obi-Wan should be... only for her hand to touch emptiness. Stang. Suddenly awake, she sighed in frustration and flung the extra pillow across the room before flopping back against the bed.
She couldn’t sleep. She hadn’t been ABLE to sleep since arriving in the City. At least not restfully. And she was being driven to distraction. On top of being thoroughly irritated by the whole thing. She didn’t know why she was having so much trouble.
Force, she missed him.
Huffing a frustrated sigh, Siri slipped out of bed. Dressing quickly, she left her room. If she couldn’t sleep, she might as well continue exploring the City. It... felt strange, in the Force. Like it was always shifting. Which, given what she’d seen of it so far... was the truth. It was a little bit... fascinating. Also a bit annoying. Something she was adapting to easily... but still annoying.
Day 10: for Obi-Wan
Force, this was getting kriffing ridiculous. She shouldn’t be that bothered by this! But she’d gotten too accustomed to having him there, to sharing a space with him every evening. Waking up next to him every morning. Why had she DONE that? It wasn’t as though she hadn’t slept alone before. No, she’d slept alone for a very large chunk of her life, for star’s sake.
So why did her bed feel too kriffing large? And empty. So painfully empty.
Grumpy, and irritable, more irritable than she SHOULD be, she found her way to Dex’s, curling up in a corner booth with a cup of caf.
