A Mingle!
Who: YOU!!
When: Early Day 9 and onwards.
Where: A city corner!
What: WISHING WELL(s?)
At some point during the night a wishing well appeared in the corner, maybe it was a garbage can a second ago and you saw it blur, maybe it was a fire hydrant, maybe you just hadn't seen it before, but there it is!
There's a sign next to it reading:"Toss a coin, make a wish!"
(WISHES NOT GUARANTEED TO COME TRUE)
Maybe you don't have a coin, but Coba's got your back; there's a pail full of coins next to the well.
So go on, make a wish. Or spy on other people making wishes (Or steal the coins). Surely nothing can possibly go wrong.

OTA
Staring for a moment, she pulls a hundred yen out of her pocket and flips it a few times in her fingers, thinking. After a moment, she tosses it in an arc into the well, a strange look on her face.
Eventually, she speaks. "As my wishing well luck is probably about as good as my shrine fortune luck, just... make sure someone else doesn't get something terrible."
placeholder and i'm sorry
[fwoosh! this passerby suddenly catches fire. and he doesn't react with jumping or screaming or anything of the sort.]
[his head just...slowly...slowly turns...to look in your direction.]
no subject
Startled, she swallows.]
Uh. Are you alright?
And then I must apologize a second time for the wait. :'D
...
Sure. Right as a peach. Ain't the first time I caught fire.
...been through worse, anyhow.
[yep, just look at him standing there and sounding perfectly calm and casual while his skin's starting to peel and blacken, oh god]
Yer not gonna throw another coin in there, are ya?
[Why? No reason.]
no subject
Er, I certainly wasn't planning on it if that was the result. I do not want to catch any more people on fire.
no subject
[and look at that, a casual almost-shrug amidst the incendiary, ain't that nice.]
I don't think it was all you, now. The fates see an opportunity, they like to seize 'em. [And he emphasizes the point with, of course, a reaching-out-and-grasping gesture.] Once in a while, what they seize is yer codpiece. Sometimes it's your midriff. Somewhere 'round there.
...
Should probably work on puttin' this out, though. Y'got anythin' I can try?

[She makes a face, shaking her head. Thinking for a moment, she takes the bucket on the well, lowers it, and detaches it from the line, full of water.]
This might help? Take a breath, and I will throw this at you. Hopefully you will not melt.
[She holds the bucket up, ready to throw when given the signal.]
no subject
[And the next point gets her a light shrug - shortly before he sets his posture to take the splash.] Don't think meltin's on the menu t'day, honeypot. Gimme yer best.
