What: WISHING WELL(s?)

At some point during the night a wishing well appeared in the corner, maybe it was a garbage can a second ago and you saw it blur, maybe it was a fire hydrant, maybe you just hadn't seen it before, but there it is!

There's a sign next to it reading: "Toss a coin, make a wish!"
(WISHES NOT GUARANTEED TO COME TRUE)

Maybe you don't have a coin, but Coba's got your back; there's a pail full of coins next to the well.

So go on, make a wish. Or spy on other people making wishes (Or steal the coins). Surely nothing can possibly go wrong.

Look, this half-naked lady in full body tattoo will just... stare. Okay? Okay.

Ray isn't one to judge a women's choice in clothes nor tattoos, and since he catches her staring he addresses her directly.

"Excuse me? I could really use your help."

Forgive her. She's been raised by wildlife lately.

"To do... what, exactly?"

[billionerd]

"Keeping an eye on the rope?"

He holds it out to her.

"I am almost certain it'll hold, though. I'm good at knots!" He smiles cheerfully, as if being good at knots is an achievement to be really proud of.

Well, in this case, being good at knots is probably a great idea. Shura takes the ropes with calloused hands and wraps it around her arm as she brace her foot against the well's wall.

Then she pauses.

"Why are you going in the well, again?"

"Scientific curiosity!"

He says, still smiling. He picks up an oxygen tank, adjusting it firmly.

"The well wasn't here before, I'm curious about where it leads to." Even though he's not sure it will lead anywhere. Hell, maybe it will disappear with him inside.

A sobering thought. Or at least it would be if he wasn't such a ridiculous optimist.

"It'll be fun!"

Oh. Well at least he wasn't going in to steal the money.

"What if you encounter a deity?" She regrets asking as soon as the words get out. Humans can't see deities like she can...

That gives him pause. Out of every possible question that wasn't one he was expecting.

"... I'll apologize for the intrusion?" His confusion is clear, but hey, he's good at rolling with things.

"Carry on, then." She held the rope securely and nodded. "Good luck down there."

Thank you, ma'am. I won't be long.

Don't worry about it, science sir, Shura will wait as long as it takes, rope in hand. Hopefully you don't encounter any demons down there.

Ray spends a long time down there, the well turns out to be very deep and he eventually runs out of rope. He should've brought communicators, and a lantern that lasted longer.

He comes back up after about an hour. Despite the lack of progress he still seems very excited :D!

"I think there are tunnels!"

"Tunnels? To where?" Since he's back, Shura will start gathering the rope.

Ray sits on the edge of the well, taking off the oxygen tank and the rest of the gear.

"No idea, I ran out of rope!"

[ibideficitorbis]

"That sucks!" Now Shura was curious too. And more than willing to help by lifting the oxygen tank and setting it away from the well with just one hand as if it weighted nothing.

That's nice, unexpected but nice. Ray seriously needs to keep in mind everyone around may have super powers.

"I'll try again later. Just need to improvise a little less."

He starts taking off the wet suit too, because he has no shame and is wearing swimming trunk under it.

Shura nods, lacing the gathered rope aside and watching him undress without much interest.

"What is your scientific opinion of this place?"
