A Mingle!
Who: YOU!!
When: Early Day 9 and onwards.
Where: A city corner!
What: WISHING WELL(s?)
At some point during the night a wishing well appeared in the corner, maybe it was a garbage can a second ago and you saw it blur, maybe it was a fire hydrant, maybe you just hadn't seen it before, but there it is!
There's a sign next to it reading:"Toss a coin, make a wish!"
(WISHES NOT GUARANTEED TO COME TRUE)
Maybe you don't have a coin, but Coba's got your back; there's a pail full of coins next to the well.
So go on, make a wish. Or spy on other people making wishes (Or steal the coins). Surely nothing can possibly go wrong.

Just... [His gaze shifts towards the pixie.] Just seeing things, I guess.
no subject
[Because that idea encompasses a whole lot of options. The Pixie looks around her quickly.]
It's not Mara, is it?
no subject
Mostly, he's just worried he got a contact high. So he gestures towards the Pixie.] Is she like, your version of Tinkerbell or something?
no subject
Tinkerbell?
[While she isn't precisely sure who that is, she adds:]
She's a demon actually.
no subject
[he clarifies:] She's a fairy from this book I read as a kid. But kind of a demonic one.
no subject
[Or maybe a horrific one for some children.]
no subject
So your, uh, "demon fairy." Is she like your companion? Partner? Whatever, some kind of weird special bond?
no subject
A partner chiefly. In theory I do consider her my companion however. When I must fight she lends me her strength.
[A pause.]
Can you typically see supernatural things?
no subject
Not sure. There weren't exactly... creatures like yours back home. [He shrugs. If they existed, they'd never resided in his hometown, at least.] Nothing that could go invisible, I mean.
no subject
Perhaps this city simply renders more people capable of seeing you.
Well... I mean that isn't such a bad thing. If they don't get scared anyhow.
[That seems to dawn on her and Nagi looks back to the man.]
I assure you, my Pixie won't harm you.
no subject
He blinks back surprise, though at the idea that the pixie might've hurt him.] I wasn't even remotely thinking about it, but uh, thank you?
I figure, if there's violence tonight, it'll be related to all the booze.
no subject
[Now she looks a bit dismayed. This many people, this much alcohol... there isn't much she can do about it if anything starts up. Not that Summoners are supposed to fight humans to begin with...]
no subject
Hey! I've got lots of experience in dealing with them. It'll be fine, I promise.
no subject
I'm glad then. I am not versed in dealing with humans in more violent situations.
no subject
If you're not, though.... does this mean vampires and werewolves aren't common where you're from?
no subject
[The Pixie by now has settled on Nagi's shoulder and pipes up.]
There are a lot of things humans don't get to really experience out there.
no subject
[He shakes his head, though he's quick to smile to indicate he's teasing.]
So... wishing wells. Actual thing for you guys, or should I just toss a coin and move on?
no subject
[That does answer the question somewhat, yes?]
no subject
Uh.... [How does he explain something he grew up with?] It's basically a place to donate money. You drop a coin in the well, in this case, and you make a wish on it. Sometimes it comes true, sometimes it doesn't.
no subject
[Or maybe it's something like faith that it will work? Nagi leans over the edge of the well, peering down into it quizzically. Meanwhile the Pixie has settled on the bucket of change, hefting a coin from it.]
Let's give it a try!
... What should we wish for though?
[For a moment the demon is silent. And then her grin turns distinctly mischievous, her voice taking a teasing lilt.]
Let's wish for luck in love.
