At some point during the night a wishing well appeared in the corner, maybe it was a garbage can a second ago and you saw it blur, maybe it was a fire hydrant, maybe you just hadn't seen it before, but there it is!

There's a sign next to it reading: "Toss a coin, make a wish!"
(WISHES NOT GUARANTEED TO COME TRUE)

Maybe you don't have a coin, but Coba's got your back; there's a pail full of coins next to the well.

So go on, make a wish. Or spy on other people making wishes (Or steal the coins). Surely nothing can possibly go wrong.

Well adventures aren't usually "safe" to begin with. You think me raising a dragon is dangerous. I think you going in to that well is super dangerous. But it's still worth the risk because it'll be an adventure. Right?

Absolutely! But when you're fighting a dragon, you know you're fighting a dragon. Here there's a chance the well will be knee-deep and I'll just embarrass myself.

But there's also a chance that Coba flips a switch and suddenly you're repelling into the throat of some large creature and I'm bringing out my team to save you, because I'd really hate for you to get eaten.
