Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

Last time I overdid it I lost two weeks. I get it.

Yeah, maybe he did.

"I-I can take your word for it." Because really, one interaction with the goddess is enough for the rest of her young life. Chie rubs at her temple, feeling the imminent onset of a headache. The crush of city sounds, the inundation of information - it's all a little too much. Chie takes a deep breath to counter the flutter of panic beginning to rise in her chest.

"So ... what are we supposed to do here?"

"Hey, Naoto-kun!" There's a slight shade of puzzlement in the otherwise friendly smile Chie gives her. Naoto hadn't been in Demeleier with the rest of them - as much as Chie missed the friends who weren't there with her, she was also grateful, considering what she'd experienced in her months of captivity. Still, there's something subtly different about Naoto from what Chie remembered of the girl back home in Inaba. "Ahaha, um - what's going on?"

[She isn't sure how to explain it better than she just did. But she tries.]

There're devices that can send your voice out to faraway places. She was using one of those.

It seems to be so in most dimensions that I've encountered individuals from here thus far. This city must enjoy drawing in people of unusual circumstances.

It does seem to enjoy switching things about quite a bit. You theorize it is connected with each individual in that way?

Very. I would not theorize about something untrue as if it were so.

That could be! I've already met some really interesting people. [Like an incubus and a guy in a costume who could move really fast.] I wonder what criteria it has for picking people?

If I'm completely honest, though, the free amenities feel shady. Maybe it's a trap.

[As he speaks, the electronic billboard comes to life, but instead of ads, it displays: "WELCOME TO CODA!!" in giant, bold text.]

[However, it would stay a bullet train for a while longer. Sugar is enjoying the speedy tour when she spots Cynthia and decides to make conversation.]

Quite a nice city, isn't it?

"No, no, I understand. If I went around in human society more often, I would probably try to hide what I was, as well."

He might even put on more clothes.

It's my pleasure to meet you. I can assume you're a new arrival as well, so may I ask what this place looks like to you?

[It's fascinating to him so far, the way it seems to shift between many cities.]

Orias pauses, and looks down at himself as if he expected to see something other than what he put on in the morning. No, there were definitely still the semblance of pants there, and a jacket. Plenty for an incubus.

"This is normal for where I'm from."

Probably a good decision.

"Then I sincerely hope you can come and go freely. Having to choose between one or the other would be unpleasant."

[That seems like a basic thing to him, how can he explain it more simply...]

Someone said that previously, but we only heard it now, without them actually being here.

They're mostly out of the way for back and shoulder massages. I'd have to have really impressive ones to cause a problem for those.

I've heard that piercings on men were becoming more mainstream and accepted in human society. Was that wrong?

Orias didn't recognize the girl at all, but that dumbstruck look was difficult to miss - not to mention the look as though she hadn't seen new clothes or a barber in ages - and he stopped his walking to address her.

"Do you need some assistance, miss?"

[Indeed, once Orias approaches her seat, the bullet train shifts and reforms into a regular train. Significantly slower.

Orias looks a bit disoriented at the change.]

I don't know when I'm going to get used to that.

"Well, you need to get outta the noise, for one thing." Kanji's getting better at spotting that, especially with Naoto's occasional 'too much social' issues. "And I am definitely fixin' your poor jacket at some point - doesn't have t'be now, we can find ya some other clothes first. I think Naoto said Souji said the house came with him, so we got a place to stay, at least. Other than that? No fuckin' clue."

Just that it isn't Fuck Or Die Island, and apparently it's also not Faerie Hell, and both of those can only be improvements.

"Izanami's stayin' in the house with us, so... if you do come back you're gonna have to get used to the idea. She's way past the point of hurtin' us, though. Trust me, I about freaked out when I found out she was around."
