WHO: You!
WHERE: Around the city!
TIME: All Through Day 1
DESCRIPTION: CITY TOUR MINGLE!
Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)
"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"
If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.
The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.
Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!
Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.
(welcome to the first official post! Mingle to your hearts' content, and don't be afraid to make your own posts, either!)

He had to check things out for himself. That led him to the bus station.
Waiting at the station, or on the bus itself, he might approach anyone else waiting there with a simple question.
"Excuse me. Could you tell me what you know about this city?"
...don't mind the amount of skin he's baring right now. Jackets with no shirt and what hardly constitutes pants are normal for incubi.

"What do I know is that it changes--it was a place that I'd rather it wasn't, but then it changed to a normal human city."
Normal being a modern city.
"And also when I left to check back on my child, I found myself back home. But then I found myself here again. It's quite an odd place!"

On one hand, it's rude to just ask someone if they're a demon, but on the other, he just saw someone with a pixie... Eh, this place is weird; he can be tactful.]
—Yeah, sure! There's a lot of free stuff, for starters. Did you get a pamphlet? There's coupons in there for all kinds of things.

Her thoughts were interrupted when she actually got a look at who she was talking to. Not that she recognized him, because she didn't, but... "Why the hell are you barely wearing anything!?"

When the doors open though and she's gestured to climb into, Nagi mounts the steps with little hesitation and glances to those already within the bus. To those who can see the supernatural, they might be intrigued by the small kimono wearing pixie settled atop her head.
The bus isn't crowded but it doesn't feel quite right to take an empty seat with there are others next to people near her. So she approaches someone sitting alone and asks:]
Would you mind if I joined you for the ride?
no subject
Not at all. I'd been hoping for someone to talk to on the ride.

Startled, she almost drops her coffee as she reaches to her neck. It was gone. She was free of the island, and all of its bindings on her.
She reaches into her shoulder bag and pulls out a walkie-talkie. "Is anyone else seeing some sort of city instead of the island? Or am I... alone?"
Eventually, she can be found on her own, wandering the city, an androgynous figure in a blue coat, blue hat, plaid pants and brown shoes, trying to find her bearings in a new place.
no subject
So that's how Naoto might find a horned, pointed-tailed man baring too much skin greeting her. "Excuse me. Are you a resident, or lost here as well?"

Second order of business: This may not be Fuck Or Die Island, but it ain't Inaba either. Sure, it looks like the shopping district (kind of, sometimes), but. That loud asshole that's always by the shrine calling him a degenerate punk isn't there, and neither is his ma.
So, he knows where it's not, and when the tour gets announced he decides he might as well see where it is. There's a bus stop right where he expects it to be, across the street from a gas station (also right where he expects it to be, if Izanami-less at the moment).
After the tour, he figures he might as well grab some food, before drifting back in the direction of the textile shop. It might not be exactly home, but it'll work for now.

Waiting for the bus in the rain, in the rainWaiting for a tour bus, no rain or clouds in the sky. He's preoccupied with his phone, which is a shame since the building right across from him has become a dead ringer for the Q-Front in Shibuya.]no subject
Which is probably why he glances over at the building, then at the guy preoccupied with his phone, and then back at the building as he says:] You know, I wonder if that'll be on the tour?

The tour had been exciting and new, very new, because usually, no city in Sailand offers tours.
But after the tour is over, Ryoga is trying to fins someone in particular. ]
Where'd the invisible lady go? Hey, you know?
[ Because intercoms? Are completely unknown to him. ]

[The intercom had been puzzling to her as well.]

Yukiko Amagi | Open
It was different than where she was before but it was different than where she was before on Atia. She still had a few things with her such as both her phone and walkie talkie but also the art case she had gotten over a month ago. However she didn't hear Naoto's message and found herself wandering aimlessly around from the tour. She is a friendly person so it wouldn't hurt if someone tried to talk to her.

Pausing, she takes a breath, curious. "Atia?"

After a few blocks, however, the stagecoach rumbles briefly over the cobbles, then becomes a broad purple flying carpet with impressive braided tassels and takes off, tacking smoothly into the breeze and rising to give an aerial view of the city. Souji manages to keep his outward cool and his position, but he leans over to wrap a hand around the wrist of the person next to him, expression one of wide-eyed and earnest concern.
"...Hope you don't get airsick."
no subject
Yukiko didn't mind the contact and she knew this one was the Souji from the island. Who else would try and look good? With that said, she grips her other hand on his shoulder trying to be comforting.

Now she's carrying a huge (more than half her height) bag of assorted candy she'd bought from a store here, occasionally taking one out to stuff into her mouth as she waits at the monorail stop. She says out loud to herself, "I do wonder what lies beyond this city's facade!"
Open
At the very least, having the tour would help her get to know where everything was. Which is why she was on the monorail for the tour, frowning a bit as she took everything in. Though most of that frown was the fact that she was STILL in her Feather Pink costume.
First thing after this tour was over? Clothes shopping. At the very least she needed to get an outfit that was somewhat normal.
So if you don't run in to her during the tour, chances are you're going to find her hurrying through the racks of clothes at the nearest department store, trying to find an outfit that wasn't too expensive yet still looked good on her. Or at the very least was something she liked. Which might not have been going so well, if the way she was quickly putting almost everything she pulled off the clothing rack back was anything to go by.
"I really hope I don't need to start keeping a backup outfit on me all the time now," she muttered to herself before going to pick yet another shirt off the clothing rack.
no subject
It's when she reaches out for one shirt that Pixie seems to like that Nagi manages to nearly bump into the other girl. Luckily the pair aren't aiming for the same shirt exactly - same shirt, different colors.

She didn't expect the forest to suddenly disappear and merge into a city. After five months in a (mostly) quiet hamlet, the noise of an actual city was overwhelming, and Chie stopped in her tracks, gawking at the spectacle around her.
She might stand out, a girl staring dumbstruck at a city, wearing clothing (her favorite green track jacket and school uniform skirt) that was obviously tattered with months of wear. Or perhaps the crown of small branches that rested conspicuously atop her head was a giveaway that she didn't belong. Only someone who knew her from home would recognize that her short brown hair had grown shaggy, like she hadn't had a haircut for quite some time.
no subject
It's pretty clear at a glance that this isn't the Chie who was in Atia with everyone. Kanji's already working out how best to fix up her jacket, since there's no way in hell she'd be persuaded to get rid of it under normal circumstances - and anything that involves that much wear and tear, not to mention that little haircut, ain't normal.
(From her end, Chie might note that Kanji's... a bit taller than she might have seen him last. And he has a weird tan line around his neck.)

From time to time, Nanako will pull a pair of peach-colored glasses out, put them on and stare at something intently, as if she could see something someone else could not. She never did and each time she would put them back in her little bear-shaped purse, looking a bit disappointed.
Maybe she should try to find people she knew? She wasn't sure that she would, but maybe? This seemed like something the others would get involved in. ]

Floating about the city on a broomstick, Arche takes everything in. This place was strange. Really neat! But strange! Some things looked familiar to her, like the occasional weapon shop that always seemed to just mysteriously appear just before she hovered by. Others, not so much. ]
This place really can't make up its mind, can it?

Hello! Are you a witch? And, yes, it is a rather inconsistent place, isn't it?

It was a street corner, the same dingy grey she remembered from home, but it was clean and that was instantly promising. The intercom blaring above her was largely ignored but Devi followed the signs to the bus station anyway. Once the bus came, she and her big black boots were on it, plopping down into a seat and glancing around the interior.]
A miracle. Mass transit that doesn't smell like urine. This place is already a step up. Next I'll hav'ta start thinking about singing the theme to the Jeffersons.
[It was casually said to no one and nothing in particular but the seat next to her was empty and after a second, she found herself humming it anyway.]

[The notion was inconceivable to someone used to the pristine mass transit run by the fastidious angels. They always ensured everything was very well-run.]
Oh, and that's a nice tune.

After her awkward scramble to answer Naoto's message on the walkie-talkie, she was left to her own devices, trying to navigate the confusing and ever changing scenery. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before she ended up completely lost and caught in the middle of the party. More than a few people grabbed her hand, trying to pull her into the party as well. Of course she shook them off, though it left her resisting the urge to drop a zionga in the middle of the crowd and see what happened.
It felt like forever before she finally managed to break free, letting out a relieved breath. Humans.

"Welcome to Coba, right Izanami-san?" she asked, eyeing the mass of people here with a bemused expression. That can't have been comfortable. "D'you need to head outside?"

SO VERY LATE
[Perhaps the tour would be good, after all.]
[The public transit sorta train seems to be what we're going with today. It's kinda nostalgic.]

That did set off warning bells, but curiosity won out over caution. Thus, the tour. And the train. And the person on the intercom talking at what seemed to be the same speed the train was moving. Oh, god, why was there so much talking? He leans forward to talk to the girl sitting next to him.]
Hey, sorry to bother you, but are you keeping up with all of this?
Sorry for the wait, time got away from me *and* the postsplosion kind of lost me. x_x

EVEN LATER
[Rise will say this to whoever feels like listening around the party, but for now she's just moving back and forth between idly touching her own neck with a certain level of fascination, and wandering toward the refreshments.]
I wonder if these are safe to eat, though...

I cannot speak for these, but what I have sampled doesn't seem to have harmed me.
