Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

"... That's pretty much the basic summary. That god thing somehow made copies of all of us using Shadows, and was planning on gathering more Shadows to create a stronger body for himself in part of the 'destroy the world' thing he wanted to do."

"Just how widespread are those guys?" Rise wonders. "I never saw anything like that happening before I went back to Inaba. Then again, we kept it pretty quiet, and I guess if there's like an organization that normally takes care of them, they'd be even better at secrecy."

You know, Mitsuru and Aigis notwithstanding.

Oh...uh, I don't mean to worry you! I just appeared here after leaving a place I was stuck in for like six months. I'm sure this city's fine!

"... Tiny and limited enough that if the government wasn't as against the whole thing with people under twenty being involved, most of us who are just stuck on back-up right now probably would've joined full time even though not all of us actually want to be involved full time."

Yukari didn't actually know just how many actual Persona users there were in the Shadow Operatives proper, but... there couldn't be that many more than the three... no, four full time members. "Most of the people who are involved in the group aren't Persona users either. Which does make things... difficult. Thankfully, things involving Shadows aren't all that common, though until the beginning of 2010 they were actually all over the place. Do you remember Apathy Syndrome?"

"Are you okay, senpai?" Rise asks. "I haven't even tried to explain how there's more than one of us yet..."

She nods. "I had a couple of shows in Iwatodai canceled, when I was first starting out, and it was all over the news."

"Wait," she says, "was that Shadows? The ones in Inaba were a lot more...immediate when they attacked someone."

"Yeah." She nods. "I don't want to lose you guys, but if they're telling the truth about coming and going, I need to."

"If one of those shows was at Club Escapade sometime in September, than yeah, Shadows were involved with that. We kinda had to kill a big one that was feeding off of the power lines to make itself stronger."

She nods at Rise's question. "Well... I'm not entirely sure about why they'd act different, but Apathy Syndrome is what happens when a Shadow feeds on a person's psyche, which completely destroys the victims will to live. But Shadows appearing in our world at all isn't really something that's supposed to happen, so they could've been acting differently because of that."

Not to mention the whole thing with the Full Moon Shadows and the Fall, but that might've been getting a bit too detailed for this right now.

"Well... that's up to you," he says, slowly. "I know... I'm in love with you, and I'd rather not give you up. But even if it was Atia that pushed me to try and have everyone I love, it wasn't the island that made me want that kind of thing. So I'd like to stay together with everyone who's interested."

He's known there would be talks like this since he woke up and found his collar gone, but he can't deny that part of him is dreading these conversations. He can't just give up all but one of his lovers - that isn't a choice he could make, and even if it was... it doesn't feel natural to him anymore.

"That depends," he answers, slowly, still stepping curiously forward. "It's not Inaba - see, the cross-street isn't the same at all past the bus stop. And I saw Tokyo Tower across town earlier, and now it's gone. I don't recognize the people, either. But..." he tilts his head, and glances down the cross-street another way. "...The Amagi Inn is here, too. And closer than usual..."

"Exactly. Dunno if any of us're quite ready to let go yet."

Well. Maybe Rise, but that'll be between her and Souji.

"However it falls out, I'm still grateful for what I've had, and for the chance to go on."

Quickly, he presses a kiss to Kanji's cheekbone, almost furtively.

"At least for the moment..."

Once they step over the threshold and closed the door behind them, he leans in to kiss her, body tilting against hers, tenderly, eagerly, pressing her up against the wall for a moment while their lips meet before drawing back.

"Do you want..." he ducks his head, a little embarrassed, a little breathless.

This way, then.

[he shoots the both of them a fond, amused look, turns to lead the way... and pauses, tentatively offering his hand or his arm to hold. Just a friendly gesture, right?]

"Me too."

Like Souji really needs to be furtive about it. In any case, Kanji grins at the kiss, and slips his arm around Souji. Might as well, right?

He takes a breath, counting on his fingers a moment before he's sure, nodding as he finishes the count. "Two and a half years," he says. "The middle of January."

The truth was, they'd avoided one another a lot because of the awkward way they met, but it was possible... "I might still have a box of your things at my house," he says, in startled realization.

"Is Yukiko here?" Suddenly, this is the most important thing on Chie's mind. She hasn't seen Yukiko in five months; she isn't sure what she hopes Souji's answer will be.

"I guess you must be from a different time?" Chie knew that was possible, from her time in Demeleier; her friends had been there for a while before she'd arrived. She takes a deep breath, exhales sharply, then replaces the smiling mask back on her face. She can fret about this later, when Rise isn't around. "I'm fine. It's a lot to take in, I guess."

"Of course." Chie sighs. Apparently destroying the world with Shadows is what gods - and goddesses - liked to do. "Well, we stopped it, though - right?"

"I haven't seen her since I got here, but I think so - I've talked to people who talked to her. Except Teddie and another version of you, I think the whole team came with me..."

"Oh ... " And when his answer comes, Chie's feelings are decidedly mixed. On the one hand, she's elated at the prospect of seeing her friend again, after so many months apart. On the other? She's here, which means she isn't at home, safe, where she belongs.

"I was there too? In Atia, I mean."

"Two different versions, about a year apart. I've met two Yosukes, two Kanjis, and two Naotos as well, but the ones I lived with most recently are the ones who showed up here."

"Sounds pretty confusing." She bites her bottom lip, imagining this; she was told in Demeleier that people often left and returned, but had never witnessed it for herself. "Well ... I guess it's good that you ended up here with people you know, right?"

She wonders if anyone from Demeleier will find their way here as well.

"I think so," he agrees. "Although... it's a little strange. From what people have been saying, you can go back to Inaba from here, but if you do, it's to your original timeline. So if we went... we'd see different versions of each other. It makes my head hurt a little - and it's been long enough for me that these are the versions of everyone I know best."
