WHAT: A demon has found its way into Coba!

WHEN: Day 7?

This is quite a place Shura has found herself into. It looks like a normal, modern city at first glance, but if she stares long enough, she can see ruins and desolation everywhere. Is this an illusion? It was hard to tell. Both the modern city and the rubble looked equally real. She walks around the shopping district and stops every few steps, trying to find a clue as to what this place really is, why she is here, and whether she can find any drinkable water for her parched throat. As she travels, her stench lingers in the air long after she has left, a mix of dirt, gore, and sweat that makes it difficult for others to breathe. Maybe someone should tell her, as she seems oblivious.

While normal people would start to scream about the stench, there was one who asked a very different question once she was in sight of the odd woman.

"Are you alright?"

Because there was no way someone can ignore that kind of thing unless it was important.

Shura pauses at the question, turning to face the woman. Is she all right? Most signs point to no. She's in an unknown world with illusions all around her and suddenly humans are there and how does human anymore?

"I... don't think I am."

She should say that she needed to get to a hospital but Yukiko realized that even with her healing powers active again, that doesn't help solve everything. Thankfully she knew of a place that could help.

"There's a inn nearby and we can get you cleaned up there."

Shura would not be certain that the hospital could even help her at this point. She was, however, more than happy to get a chance to stop and refresh before figuring out a way to... go back? Wake up?

"That would be very welcome."

It might be difficult to wake up when they're not dreaming. But Yukiko takes the other's hand without question and starts to lead her towards said location, grateful that there was no need for a bus like back home. It's also odd that she didn't even question the girl's look; then again coming from Sex Island where people were influenced to get naked at times...also influenced how she saw things.

"So...where did you come from?"

Shura is so surprised that this obviously human girl has taken her hand to lead her that for a moment she forgets how to speak and just follows along. No one back in her world would dare lead her along by the hand, let alone take her hand at all. It's strange and unexpected but also sort of nice.

"... I'm from the end of the world."

She looked like she needed it, moreso when she swore she heard 'end of the world'. Oh crap, she was serious wasn't she?

"Oh...I'm sorry about that."

She was entirely serious. But she just shook her head at the young woman's words, still following obediently.

"Don't be. I... chose my own path."

She couldn't understand what that meant but asking out in the middle of the street wasn't going to help them either. Thankfully the two reached the inn's front doors and Yukiko escorted the newcomer inside much to the front desk's dismay. Probably due to the smell and look that made her run off.

"...er...guess it was her break. I can give you a couple kimono and let you use the spring to help freshen up."

Shura watched the front desk lady run away, feeling all too aware of her incredibly off-putting look for a Japanese person's point of view. Her eyes are still wide when she looks at the girl who walked her here.

"Thank you, but... why are you helping me?" Shura has seen the worst of humanity. This flies in the face of it.

"Why?" she blinked because that was such an odd question to ask.

"Because I want to."

Forgive Shura. To her, that is such a strange answer she has to ask again.

"But... you don't know me."

"Should it matter?"

Shura pauses. On the one hand, it should definitely matter. On the other hand... Yukiko reminds her of a Manikin a bit. They were suspicious at first, understandably, but they were the only one to treat her well.

"I... suppose not."
