Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

He nods in answer to her first question, listening with interest, but goes a little still s she continues into the really surprising parts. Not the Shadows and the end of the world - in Inaba that almost goes without saying. But the rest...

"...It probably slipped her mind," he answers faintly, wide-eyed. Yukari-san was... ah. "I never discussed it with her, so neither of us knew..." he pauses, thinking about what he remembers of her. "If you don't mind my asking... your Persona. It's the Lovers Arcana, right?"

Yukari nodded. "Well... I guess it just didn't have a chance to come up then. I mean, if I hadn't already met you back home, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it either. It's not exactly supposed to be common knowledge." She was pretty sure that he wouldn't usually tell her that either, so... yeah.

That last part does get her to look at him a bit oddly though, frowning. "And yeah, that is my Arcana. Should I be worried that you were so easily able to guess that?"

"I'm a pretty good guesser, when it comes to that. And since I had time to get to know you in another world... it's what made the most sense to me." He nodded, decisively.

"I hope we can be friends again here, Yukari-san."

"... I guess you must know the arcana pretty well," she said. Part of her still wasn't completely happy about how Souji knew her, but she had to admit it was better than him not recognizing her.

"I don't think you're going to have to worry too much about us becoming friends," Yukari said, smiling at him. "I mean, we've already managed it a bit once before, right?"

"Well, I'd hope we'll have an easy time of it... but I don't like to make assumptions," he says. "Still. Once the tour's done here, I can show you where we're staying right now, and if you'd like to look through your other self's things, or just to come over and say hello to everyone, you're welcome to."

Yukari nodded. "Sure. I mean, if we're going to be getting to know each other, I should probably have some idea of where you are." And where... apparently everyone was. It was probably something she should've asked the others when she talked to them, but it was too late to do much about that now.

And hey, better to go there with him than to just wander around and try to see if there was anyone here who actually recognized 'her' her, instead of another her.

"I wonder if we can see it from here," he mused after a moment, leaning out and craning his neck as he surveyed the cityscape, looking for one brown-shingled roof that might or might not stand out among the others. As he did, though, the carpet began to descend again in a slow, smooth curve, and he leaned back after a moment with a sigh, letting the breeze fluff his hair, and glanced again at Yukari. This place... definitely made things interesting.

Yukari almost laughed at his antics, but... for all she knew, there really was a good chance that they could see his place from up there. At least until the carpet started to move down already.

"Huh. I didn't think it was going to be over already," she said. "I... kinda stopped paying attention to where we were going halfway through."

"I'll take that as a compliment," he answered with a smile, waited as they drifted to a halt, and offered her his hand as he stepped off the carpet, floating a safe measure of inches off the ground. "This way?"

Yukari grabbed his hand without a second thought before getting off of the carpet before pulling away. "Sure. I mean, it'd be just a little bit hard for me to lead the way, wouldn't it?"

"That's a good point," he says, as if the observation was a profound one, and leads on. The walk is brief, and before long they're standing before a large, Mediterranean-style house in the midst of a rural Japanese neighborhood.

Yukari can't help but smile just a little bit when she sees his house... and how it's totally out of place in the middle of everything. "I guess Coba's not really all that big on making sure everything it pulls looks like it matches together, is it?"

[fridgeninja]

"Maybe not... but it all looks like home to me."

Unlocking the door and gesturing her insider, they're greeted in the front hall by three curious cats, who Souji identifies as Amaterasu, Tsukimoi, and Susano-O as he bends down to scritch them, before leading her into the spacious living room, where the stairs curle up towards the second story.

"This way."

Yukari blinked at the cats as they came over to them, but it wasn't for long before she was smiling at them. Those were some pretty interesting names, and she moves to follow after him.

"Huh. I... I know I didn't really get a chance to know you that well back home, but I didn't realize you'd be such a cat person."

"I like to think of myself as more of a domestic human."

At the top of the stairs, there's a closet, and on its top shelf, when he opens it, is a single large cardboard box, sealed tight with packing tape. One corner has broken open enough for the corner of a heavy pink comforter to escape. On the side, it reads 'Yukari' in romaji.

Okay, when Souji had said that he had some of her stuff, she hadn't really been expecting her bedding from whenever she had been at wherever he had been to have been part of that. Still, she tries not to show her reaction too much when she grabs the box from him, though she can't help herself from asking more about it.

"So... umm... how exactly did you end up getting my stuff anyway?"

[fridgeninja]

"Well... it's a complicated story. But when we met, we accidentally signed a lease together..."

He shrugs, feeling guilty that he's trying to pass it off as nothing, but... really, it had been so brief, so awkward, and so long ago that he hadn't recognized her when he first saw her next to him.

[evokeslovers]

"... Okay. I know you were in a different world and all, but how the hell does that even happen?" Yukari asked. She didn't sound angry or anything, she was just curious about the apparent insanity of it all.

Because really, signing a lease together was... not a thing that usually happened accidentally. Like, at all.

[fridgeninja]

"It's... complicated," he hedges. "Basically... we were under a curse that made us believe we knew each other. So it made sense to move in together, since otherwise we were stuck in a hostel."

[evokeslovers]

"Oh. That's... less accidental and more on due to outside influences though, isn't it?" She asked. Before shaking her head, because really, at this point it didn't matter. "But... wow. I really hope nothing like that happens here in Coba."

[fridgeninja]

"Well, it was accidental for us," he said, avoiding eye contact. "But... it doesn't seem like that kind of thing is likely here at all. That kind of curse... there's nobody to cast it."

[evokeslovers]

Yukari frowned a bit, but still let out a bit of a sigh. "That we know of, anyway. Just because there isn't someone from here who could do something weird like that doesn't mean that someone who can won't show up."

[fridgeninja]

"...It was an evil goddess drawing her power from an island of slaves and worshippers."

[evokeslovers]

"Okay, maybe that exactly one won't show up, but... saying it's an evil god or goddess really doesn't mean much as far as 'this probably won't happen' goes when it comes to us."

[fridgeninja]

"Ah... good point," he admits with a laugh, then scratches his head, still embarrassed.

"Although... they aren't always as evil as they seem."
