Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

[One perk to growing up with a Damon Salvatore: Tyler knows his taste in liquor a little too well.]

Mine too. [He can't help smiling in return as he stuffs his pockets and steps inside.] Who else's showed up so far? I know it can't just be you, me, and Care.

[that's not a bad thing at all, though. Damon shuts the door behind him and sets the bottle on the tv stand for now, along with the bourbon already occupying the space]

Elena and Jenna. [there's a tone in his voice like he's trying not to sound happy about it and just as his usual self] Still waiting on a few we saw earlier, and whoever else has decided to join our happy little relocation.

[Jenna? Well, no wonder Damon sounds happy - anyone would be thrilled to be reunited with their best friend. Tyler's trying really hard not to make one of those cheeky grins.]

Huh. They'll come around eventually. [beat] Is your Stefan a nerd too, or is that just mine?

[bless your heart, Tyler, and brace yourself for the terrible truth that is coming. The question gets Damon making a face, though, albeit it's more confused than anything]

Define "nerd". Because the older brother in me says yes, absolutely and without question. [no, Damon, your brother is not a nerd. The one you ran into is a tea nerd, maybe, but no. A pause] How nerdy is the one you know?

Pretty damn nerdy. [He snorts - in all honesty, not that much nerdier. But when you compare him to Tyler, Stefan might as well be that kid shoved in a locker.] We're talking "takes things to the lab to analyze them" nerdy. If something can be done for science, he does it.

Also weirdly obsessed with tea. [His Damon is too, now that Tyler thinks about it.] But I don't think that counts.

[the groan is overdramatic and not at all genuine, and he lets his head fall back as though the thought pains him, that his dear baby brother is a nerd in some other universe]

That's nerdy on two different levels. Oh, what a fate that's fallen upon my poor brother.

What happened to Stefan?
[Caroline had been in the other room and came out just in time to hear that since she'd tuned Damon out earlier when they'd finally left the bathroom.

And then saw Tyler.]

..You made it.

[Awkwaaaaaard]

He's lamenting my best friend's nerdiness. [Tyler rolls his eyes, though he can't quite wipe the smile off his face - in fact, it grows wider at the sight of Caroline.] But hey, glad to know that vampire Stef's slightly higher up on the scale.

I just... I figured I should drop by, maybe compare notes about my world and yours and whatever else is out there. [He shrugs, trying not to sound as awkward as he feels.]

[he's stuck between two awkward teenagers, god help him. He glances between them both, then just. Decides he's going to ignore it. Or make it worse, it depends on how he feels]

Slightly higher up. And if you're about to tell me crazy shit about your world, I'm going to need a drink.

Do you two need a moment? [yep, he's gonna make it worse] Maybe you can bond over being BFFs with Stefan.

[Stop smiling, you're flustering her. And Damon, you are getting such a look right now.]

Um, comparing notes is probably a good idea, so you'll know what to expect for people who confuse you with...well Tyler from our world.

[IGNORING YOU, DAMON.]

[Hey! His world's much less violent than their bizarro Mystic Falls. Though Tyler will concede, bizarro Mystic Falls also gets a lot less raccoon infestations and bear sightings.]

We're gonna need a lot more of a moment if you don't want to hear about my "crazy shit." [The thinnest of smiles as he gestures towards the drinks, as if to subtly indicate that Damon's gonna need to be hammered to listen to his story.]

But yeah, Care. I could also see if you've fought anything I have to watch out for back home.
