Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

What do you think it is? It looks astonishingly like something that ought to be in one of the halls of the palace. But I couldn't say.

[frowns, walking over to the statue to run a hand over it, seeing if it's solid.

Wait, so what is this? Asgard?

[trickor]

Most definitely not.

[captainkink]

Okaaay, but that -- [ points to the statue ] -- is from there, isn't it?

[trickor]

[frowns, tipping his head slightly]

It's in the Asgardian style, certainly, but it is not a specific statue I recognize.

[captainkink]

. . . It does look familiar . . .

[trickor]

Someone you know?

[captainkink]

[ looks at it closely and then scowls ]

Yeah. It's Khan.

[trickor]

[...scowls and snaps his fingers.

...

his face melts off]

[captainkink]

Holy shit!

[trickor]

I dislike that man.

[captainkink]

You've never even -- Yeah. Okay. Fair enough.

[trickor]

If we ever meet, Captain, I'd do worse than simply destroying his countenance.

I'm not complaining.

[trickor]

[distractedly sweeps his fingertips over the back of Jim's neck, just a brief touch]

It's odd, though. Why would there be a statue of him here? In the Asgardian style, no less?

I have a theory. What if this place picks up brainwaves and imitates the style of our respective worlds here? Camp would do that sometimes.

[trickor]

You haven't seen anything. Other than...Khan.

[have you ever heard such disdain]

[captainkink]

No, but that doesn't mean I won't.

[trickor]

It's an odd thought, though.

[captainkink]

I wasn't thinking of him, no, but that's not what I meant by brainwaves. I don't think it works by conscious thought.

[trickor]

Shouldn't we have seen more influence from you, then?

[captainkink]

Like I said, it's bound to happen.
