Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

[HELLO, PERSON. Hibiki stumbles, but manages to catch his footing in time to reach out and steady Ryoga as well.]

Woah! Careful there! You okay—

[Annnnd now he sees the building]

—theeeeere?

[ He turns around halfway, and pulls away enough so he won't put the other more off balance. ]

Yeah, sorry, I was just a bit [ a lot ] surprised.

[He takes a step back once Ryoga pulls away. He's not really bothered by the lack of personal space, but he'd prefer to have all the same, especially when a GIANT FAMILIAR BUILDING pops up in front of him.]

Oh, good. That makes two of us. The Q-Front was not there last time I looked.

[ That is the seediest building Ryoga has ever seen, and it's something this guy recognizes? ]

Q....Front? Is that that... weird building?

[Excuse you, tall glitzy buildings with GIANT MONITORS that act as 24/7 displays of BUY THIS SHIT IT'S SO COOL messages on them are totally normal.]

Yeah, it's a building in Shibuya. It's pretty famous where I come from, but... This place definitely isn't Shibuya. This isn't even Japan!

[ THEY ARE TOTALLY NOT NORMAL ]

I have never even heard of any of those places before.

[Okay, not hearing of Shibuya... Not that surprising, given the people he's run into so far. Not having heard of Japan, on the other hand. Has this guy been living under a rock his whole life? Or is he from one of those different worlds Hibiki's been told about?]

You haven't heard of Japan? It's a country in this world.

At least, it should be a country in this world. There's a few things I haven't fully grasped yet.

[ sorry to burst your bubble but he's traveled far and wide. ]

We're probably not from the same worlds, then. That's when communication starts breaking down.

But Japan is the country where I'm from. It's not that big, but the population is dense and we make cool stuff, like the Q-Front!

[He points to the building, which is now flashing "WELCOME TO COBA!!!" in giant, bold letters.]

I don't entirely get it but if it's a place, I want to see it!

[ This "Japan" he means. ]

If you want to, you can! I think. I know we can leave the city, but I wonder where we end up when we leave.

[He was on a vacation when he ended up in Coba. He's not so sure if this how he wanted his vacation to have gone.]

Really? That would be awesome. It would be interesting! Does all the buildings look like this, err, Q-Front, you said?

Not all of them. Some are actually bigger, but we've got smaller buildings, too. It depends on where you go! The area where I live is pretty quiet, but if you go into the heart of the city, there's a lot of people and lot more to see.

[He pauses for a moment. There's a theory about this place that he's been slowly building ever since he got here, and this guy would be a perfect way to test it, assuming that Hibiki can get back to Japan without any problems.]

I don't think I'll be able to do it anytime soon, but I could try taking you to Japan one day, assuming you'll be in Coba for a while.

You're from the countryside, something like that?

[ Oh that sounds amazing! ]

I'd love to try that out. I'll be looking into this place a bit, and I tend to come and go from time to time to many places. I'll definitely put this place on my list of top places to visit.

Not so much the country side as I happen to live in a residential area instead of an apartment in the middle of the city.

[He brightens at the mention of Ryoga travelling]

Great! And, hey, if you leave Coba and come back and I'm here, could we compare notes about how we left and how we got back here? I'm kind of curious about some stuff.

It's different? I'm used to any area in a city being pretty noisy.

[ Traveling is his way of life. ]

Yeah, sure. It's pretty interesting, that there even is a place like this, it's worth researching.

It probably is noisy to some people, but I've gotten used to it. Stuff like that's relative anyway.

[His smile grows a little, and he chuckles.]</small. Heh, look at us talking about meeting up later when we haven't even introduced ourselves! My name's Hibiki.

I suppose that it is.

Oh, right. I'm Ryoga. Nice to meet you, Hibiki.

So, yeah, you should go visit Tokyo sometime! Where do you live, by the way? I probably won't have heard of it if it's in a different world, but can you tell me a little about it?

I should! But I don't live anywhere in particular. I'm a wanderer who just stays the night wherever I finf myself.

Ooo, a world traveler! Now I feel outclassed, since I left never Japan.

[He thinks for a second]

...Unless this counts. Coba probably counts as outside of Japan.

I think it counts. Besides, [ He grins, ] You still have a lot of time to see other places.

True, true. I'm still young and full of energy. And, hey, that's what my vacation is for—to see the world and understand the people who live in it better.
