WHO: You!
WHERE: Around the city!
TIME: All Through Day 1
DESCRIPTION: CITY TOUR MINGLE!

Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

(welcome to the first official post! Mingle to your hearts' content, and don't be afraid to make your own posts, either!)

[Back home for Aiden, the ratio is...well, there are still a lot of vamps, but then the Crescent pack isn't tiny either.

He looks Tyler over, and then nods a greeting. And smiles a little, although it's wry.]

They definitely make up the majority.

[He'd say something snarky about not really being a big fan himself, but that seems like poor taste in a room full of them. Also, it's not strictly true. Considering his boyfriend.]

What about you? Fan or not?

[He guesses not, but it doesn't hurt to check.]

Eh. [While he loves Caroline - his Caroline? the one in front of him? - he's still pretty vocal about his ambivalence towards vampires as a whole.] I liked The Werewolf of Paris better.

[Reaching for his watch, he pulls it off for a brief second and grins, his eyes briefly flashing yellow.] What's your favorite?

[...The thing with the watch is interesting. Maybe he'll have to ask about that later. For now, he smiles back, his own eyes flashing yellow for a second.]

That's a good one. I'm a fan of The Wolf's Hour, too.

You've got good taste.

[He means it too. Tyler's surgically attached to his wristwatch - it looks pretty normal, even though it's got a crescent moon inset, and it kinda smells like apples. Most people've written it off as a fashion statement, even though it's definitely more like a moonlight ring.] I would've also accepted The Alchemist or one of those wizard-school books.

Honestly, though? I didn't realize there were so many of y'all in New Orleans.

I was kind of thinking the same thing about Mystic Falls. Seems like a lot of people for one small town.

[He really wonders. New Orleans was, at least, a pretty big city. Made sense for there to be a supernatural population there. But somewhere randomly in Virginia? That makes less sense to him.]

But yeah, we've got a lot of everything, I guess.
lockwouldnt: (ew that's gross)

I'm pretty sure our supernatural population is our entire town.

[He shrugs, almost helplessly. It doesn't help that Mystic Falls was kinda founded by vampires (and then subsequently covered up). Tyler kinda regrets his jaunt through the history archives some weeks.] Makes life more interesting, I guess.

Interesting's definitely one word for it.

[Chaotic and life-threatening are two others. Occasionally life-ending. All in all, it could stand to be a little less interesting. Which is why his eyebrows are slightly raised, as if to make a point.]

I'm curious, how often does it seem like the world's going to end up there?
lockwouldnt: (sure i believe you)

Twice a year, I'd say - once near Christmas, and again around finals. [Kinda weird, now that he thinks about it. It's strangely consistent for something that's... well, not.] Oh, and our weird crap always happens on a Thursday.

Is it as consistent for y'all? [Seriously, Mystic Fall has to be the only place that's got stuff happening on Thursdays, right?]
