Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

"Wish I could say the same," Chie mutters, but the darkness in her expression quickly passes. She sighs, shaking her head. "Sorry, I'm Chie Satonaka. Have you been here a while?"

Sorry Chie, but you were going to have to wait just a little bit for your answer, because Yukari wasn't really focusing much on that last part now. She had something more... well, obvious to draw to.

"Wait, Satonaka-san? What the..." Wait. No, she clearly didn't recognize her. "... I have to say, I didn't recognize you with that hair... but this just makes things even more confusing."

Yukari. Focus. "Oh, umm... I'm guessing that you don't remember ever meeting me before back home, do you?"

Chie's hand flies up to her hair, the makeshift crown perched atop her head; the hair's grown longer than she would like in her months of captivity. She frowns, puzzled, trying to place the other girl but coming up empty. She shakes her head.

"I don't ... sorry. Did you go to Yasogami High?" It wasn't that big of a place. Surely Chie would have remembered if they were classmates.

Yukari shook her head. "No. I didn't," she said. "I went to Gekkoukan, but I'd already graduated highschool by the time we met. Apparently there's some weird thing going on with time in this place..."

She frowned a bit more, because that really wasn't explaining it much at all. "I'm a Persona user, and we met... or should've met during an incident that happened during Golden Week in 2012, I guess."

"Golden Week? Oh - that hasn't happened yet." So that makes sense, why Chie doesn't recognize the other girl - she hasn't met her yet. She smiles, a little relieved; weird time things are not a new concept for Chie. "Golden Week was a couple weeks off for me when I got taken to Demeleier."

Yukari nodded. "Yeah. That... seems to be the same for everyone here that I've met, actually. Well, except the 'taken to Demeleier' part. At least as far as naming where else they ended up goes."

Which no offense? Is weird as hell to keep hearing about. Considering what she's heard from everyone, it's almost like she's the weird one from being taken directly from their world.

"So... this place that you were before here. What's it like?"

Chie shivers. She was just there a minute ago, and now she's not. It's an awfully big case of mood whiplash, coupled with the overwhelm she feels from the noise all around her.

"Um ... it was pretty terrible, actually. There were faeries."

Faeries didn't really seem to be too bad to Yukari, but Chie's reaction to her question makes her pause before saying that. Which was a good thing, because then it let her actually think about it a bit more, and remember some of the more unpleasant details that came up in regards to them.

"Well, that definitely doesn't sound anything remotely good," she said, almost a bit unnecessarily. "I'm guessing that they probably did a little more than just pulling pranks on you and whoever else was there, didn't they?"

"It was a pretty dangerous place." Adachi received a power boost from the Fae Queen and murdered people. But she doesn't like to talk about that. Especially with a girl whose name she doesn't even know.

Wow. Vague much, Chie? Still, it's not like Yukari doesn't understand the caution, so she'll pretty much let it drop for now.

"Hopefully this place won't be that dangerous," she said. "Anyway, my name's Yukari Takeba."

"Nice to meet you, Takeba-san." Chie gives her a quick bow; she may be weirded out, but she still remembers her manners. "Um ... again, I guess?" And she gives the other girl a small laugh.

"So ... what happened during Golden Week, anyway?"

"It's nice to meet you again too." Yukari said, though she frowned at that question. If only because she's already had to explain it a lot.

"Short version: A guy with a grudge against a dead guy and the whole world was manipulated by a manifestation of humanities' subconscious who ultimately ended up claiming to be a god tried to destroy the world."

She paused for a second, frowning as she remembered what she knew about the first Inaba incident. "So... basically the same thing that ultimately happens whenever Shadows get involved, I guess."

"Shadows?" Come to think of it, Yukari introduced herself as a Persona user. "So ... what, we end up fighting this guy and more Shadows together?"

"... That's pretty much the basic summary. That god thing somehow made copies of all of us using Shadows, and was planning on gathering more Shadows to create a stronger body for himself in part of the 'destroy the world' thing he wanted to do."

"Of course." Chie sighs. Apparently destroying the world with Shadows is what gods - and goddesses - liked to do. "Well, we stopped it, though - right?"

Yukari couldn't help but smile at that question. "Well, I don't think I'd be here talking to you about it if we didn't manage to stop it somehow."

Chie laughs at that. "You're right - that was kind of a silly question." She drops her head, scuffs the toe of her shoe at the sidewalk, then looks back up to Yukari. "But it's good to know we win in the end."

Even the smallest bit of hope is enough to keep someone going.

Yukari nods back, her smile still on her lips. "Don't worry about it. Moments like that happen to the best of us. But you're right, knowing that we were going to win definitely would've made that situation a lot less stressful."

... Then again, that could've completely changed things anyway, wouldn't it? Not really a question Yukari wanted to think about too much.

"Well ... you did your best! That's what's important, right?" Chie actually feels a bit refreshed to be falling back into her old cheerleading self.

Yukari giggled at that. "Yeah. I guess that is important." Though when you had an hour time limit before the end of the world there was no way that wasn't going to be stressful.
