WHO: You!
WHERE: Around the city!
TIME: All Through Day 1
DESCRIPTION: CITY TOUR MINGLE!

Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

(welcome to the first official post! Mingle to your hearts' content, and don't be afraid to make your own posts, either!)

"Yeah, back where we were before, Naoto-kun and Yukiko-senpai saw 'memories' we guessed might be from the future...," Rise replied. "I guess that makes just as much sense as anything. Naoto-kun's supposedly from a couple weeks ahead of me anyway."

"... Were those memories of a stupid over-the-top fighting tournament thing?" Yukari asked. "Because if it was, then that's a pretty good bet that it was from the future. Fuuka and Mitsuru mentioned something about that happening. Then the next day even more stuff happened. Which is when I ended up getting involved."

"Yeah, that! Naoto-kun had to fight Senpai and Yukiko rescued...a robot...or something. It looked like the weirdest Shadow Dungeon ever," she admitted.

"I should probably apologize for you getting pulled into that, actually. I thought those wouldn't happen anymore," she added with a sigh.

"Trust me Rise-san, you have nothing to apologize for," Yukari said immediately. "That 'Shadow Dungeon' part was over with by the time I got involved anyway. The people who were behind Labrys getting thrown into the TV world in the first place had a grudge against Mitsuru and the rest of us by extension. We would've ended up getting involved even if it hadn't happened in Inaba."

She sighs, before shaking her head. "If anything, I should be apologizing to you and everyone else for us not realizing what happened in Inaba last year was related to Shadows. I'm generally only back up right now, but taking care of Shadow related incidents is pretty much the reason our group exists. So... we probably should've noticed what was going on."

Rise nods along with that explanation with all the attentiveness she typically used to show to TV interviewers. In the meantime, her brain just sort of logged all the proper names and otherwise sat in neutral.

The last part was easier to follow, though. "So wait, your group fights Shadows like, professionally?"

She blinks. "So you're on a monster-fighting hero team in real life and on TV? That's gotta be confusing."

Yukari laughed at that comment, because that really wasn't the reaction she was expecting to hear about that. "Yeah. We... do. Or at least those of us who aren't around as back-up, anyway. The government's just a little bit against people who are still underage fighting against monsters." To put it lightly, though at least in Ken's case she at least understood why. Even if it was pointless, considering how few people there were who could actually fight Shadows.

"And it's not really that confusing. Especially since I was doing the whole fighting shadows thing first..."

"Just how widespread are those guys?" Rise wonders. "I never saw anything like that happening before I went back to Inaba. Then again, we kept it pretty quiet, and I guess if there's like an organization that normally takes care of them, they'd be even better at secrecy."

You know, Mitsuru and Aigis notwithstanding.

"... Tiny and limited enough that if the government wasn't as against the whole thing with people under twenty being involved, most of us who are just stuck on back-up right now probably would've joined full time even though not all of us actually want to be involved full time."

Yukari didn't actually know just how many actual Persona users there were in the Shadow Operatives proper, but... there couldn't be that many more than the three... no, four full time members. "Most of the people who are involved in the group aren't Persona users either. Which does make things... difficult. Thankfully, things involving Shadows aren't all that common, though until the beginning of 2010 they were actually all over the place. Do you remember Apathy Syndrome?"

She nods. "I had a couple of shows in Iwatodai canceled, when I was first starting out, and it was all over the news."

"Wait," she says, "was that Shadows? The ones in Inaba were a lot more...immediate when they attacked someone."

"If one of those shows was at Club Escapade sometime in September, than yeah, Shadows were involved with that. We kinda had to kill a big one that was feeding off of the power lines to make itself stronger."

She nods at Rise's question. "Well... I'm not entirely sure about why they'd act different, but Apathy Syndrome is what happens when a Shadow feeds on a person's psyche, which completely destroys the victims will to live. But Shadows appearing in our world at all isn't really something that's supposed to happen, so they could've been acting differently because of that."

Not to mention the whole thing with the Full Moon Shadows and the Fall, but that might've been getting a bit too detailed for this right now.

"That's the one! The management was really nice about it, though, so I didn't mind," she says.

"And...yeah, it sounds like they were a lot different. Our Shadows were in a weird world inside the TV, and they would just go berserk and attack people if they didn't acknowledge their own Shadow," she explains. "I don't know if you heard about the two women who were killed last year, but that was the cause of it."

Well, that and the sociopathically disenfranchised detective and the death goddess and her fog-god cronies putting humanity on trial, but that's definitely too detailed for right now.

"Well... there's not really much they could be upset about with you. It's not like you had control over their power..."

Yukari nodded at Rise's explanation, though personally she still thought that whole situation seemed a bit weird. Especially since she and the others hadn't needed to do anything like that to get their Persona. It... well, Yukari wasn't sure what the implications of that were, but she was pretty sure it'd lead to a line of thought that she probably shouldn't be going down. "I read a bit more about it once we... when everything was over and we were able to get an actual detailed summary of what happened."

None of them had been happy to hear that something like this happened almost under their nose, after all.
