WHO: Patchouli, whoever else feels like showing up
WHERE: Places. You know. Basically wherever. A library is a good bet, though.
WHEN: Late Day 2-Early Day 3 I... think...
WHAT: Somehow it became possible to get this nerd to have a look around a city.
Patchouli emerged from the mansion in the middle of the night to unfamiliar surroundings. Apparently the city was so intent on dragging her in that it would give her nowhere else to go. Fine. She just wouldn't go anywhere, then, right?
Well, about that... For some reasonprobably a blatant shoehorning in order to get her to go look around, the siren allure of other libraries drew Patchouli into the city. She also decided to explore everything available to her. What this means is that other people have many opportunities to interrupt her, and pretty much wherever -- but once she runs across an unfamiliar library, she might settle in for a while to read.

Other than the fact that it seemed to mysteriously grow around her home overnight?

Bernard groans and sits up just a bit more.
"You're not helping, looking like you strolled out of some French revolution bedroom."

Okay, not that much.
"I guess. I mean, it did seem to spring up around my home fairly suddenly overnight." Plus, Bernard didn't look like he came from the same world as her. What the hell was this place.

He finally gets round to rubbing his eyes and it works, helping him to refocus despite the throbbing pain in his hand. At least now that was numbing down to something duller. Bernard, reaches into inside his coat pocket and finds a plastic glass of wine and a small bottle like the one you'd find in a minibar. He unscrews it, but instead of pouring it into the glass instead opts to drink it straight from the bottle.
"What kind of fool goes to the library in the evening anyway." he says, directed at Patchouli but he's still very hesitant to look her in the eye.

"It's when I woke up," she noted instead. It was true, but kind of irrelevant.

She hadn't gotten into the whole matter of her age or being a wizard yet. They'd get to that. ... and Bernard would probably think she was full of shit, but given his other experiences thus far, would that really be weird?

"My name's Bernard. I run a book shop. Maybe you could visit sometime if you like books."
He's attempting to be charming and failing, please pardon him.

"Nice to meet you, Bernard." She'll give him a pass for the time being. Near nobody really comes off as charming to her. "My name is Patchouli."
As stated, the 'French' guess was awfully on the mark.
