WHEN: Day 3, morning

[It's a beautiful morning in this part of Coba! The sun is shining, the birds are singing - or at least they were until a few seconds ago. Suddenly, the city is plunged into darkness again, and the streets start to fill with people dressed in outrageous costumes. There's music in the air and all traffic is stopped for the parade of revellers heading down the street. Anyone from New Orleans might find the spectacle rather familiar, but for anyone else it's still an excuse to party like the night never ended]

Kanji sighs. "True, but it doesn't make me any less confused."

"I suppose not." Still there's the problem of making it around this mess. The teenager mulls over it a moment, then her Pixie speaks up.

"It'd be easier to go around it."

"Oh!" There's an idea. She glances over to Kanji. "Why don't we see where the end of it is?" She adds in a gesture there towards where the whole parade is coming from rather than where it's going. Head it off from the rear so to speak.

"...That ain't a bad plan, actually. Gotta be worth a shot."

And hopefully it'll spit him out closer to home than he is here anyway.

With a firm nod then Nagi starts on down the opposite direction of the parade's path, on sidewalks and passing through others celebrating. And the parade just seems to keep going really, at least for a good while.

Sooner or later, they'll have to hit the end of the parade.

And they do - it feels like 'later,' and it's definitely several blocks from where they started, but there's a clump of floats and groups waiting to set off and then... nothing half so crazy. "Okay, good."

"That was... quite long," Nagi murmurs as she stares back at the awaiting floats and groups. The Pixie has ended up settled on the girl's shoulder and now gives a long sigh herself.

"At least it's mostly over though. C'mon, c'mon! Let's get going before it starts up here!"

"Long, sure, but at least we can get around it."

Still, getting a move on before the parade decides to branch off in another direction? Definitely a good idea.

Thankfully crossing the street is little issue... for the most part. Until the pair get about halfway and then?

Then the parade starts moving again.
