WHO: Everyone!
WHAT: Mingle!
WHERE: Somewhere in the city
WHEN: Day 3, morning
[It's a beautiful morning in this part of Coba! The sun is shining, the birds are singing - or at least they were until a few seconds ago. Suddenly, the city is plunged into darkness again, and the streets start to fill with people dressed in outrageous costumes. There's music in the air and all traffic is stopped for the parade of revellers heading down the street. Anyone from New Orleans might find the spectacle rather familiar, but for anyone else it's still an excuse to party like the night never ended]

Look, Kanji was just trying to go shopping. That's all. He can't find the right stuff in the textile shop for Chie-senpai's poor jacket (and he really wants to get that patched up as soon as possible, so she has something familiar - she could use it), so he struck out for another fabric shop and found himself in... well, this chaos.
It looks like... a parade? Sort of? Maybe? With about 300 percent more weird than he's used to in a parade. CAN HE JUST GO HOME NOW.
('Home,' in this case, meaning back to Inaba House. He doesn't want to try his luck with Inaba proper just yet.)

She stops to catch her breath nearby Kanji, pressing a hand against her chest. "This is... quite the process..."
For a moment she considers asking if this is a common occurrence but really it seems like more often than not she ends up running into new people just as clueless as she is here.

The only problem was that while a sudden parade party was entertaining, it was also disorienting and dangerous, especially when the parade route manifests right where he was walking. Why were there suddenly giant gaudy parade floats? Why the abundance of gold, purple, and green? Who was dripping beer on him? Why were people throwing cheap jewelry at him?!
Somehow, someway, he manages to make his way out of the parade, with his bunny ear hood up, beer stains on his hoodie, and several layers of cheap plastic bead necklaces and a glow stick necklace around his neck. With the threat getting run over by a giant jester parade float no longer in his imminent future, Hibiki leans against the nearest solid-looking object he can find.
...Which is Kanji. He's breathing a little heavily when he says:
"Sorry...but I really need a few seconds to catch my breath..."

[Aiden had been out trying to find a job, actually. Now he's just standing on the side of the street, hands in his pockets as he watches the parade go by.
Also yup that's the weird thing. And not the part where it just turned back into evening.]

Guess who's trying to avoid the parade by running (with his usual super-speed, no less) - and instead of escaping the parade, he just. Keeps encountering it at every turn. He even runs a few blocks, only to be stopped by a float (and people somehow aiming perfectly at his neck, thanks, he really wanted those beads).
So now he's running through the crowds, trying to figure out where the town's exit is because he's seriously had enough. Tyler had witnessed Mardi Gras once, when he was younger. It seemed like fun; problem is, he's not interested in fun at this hour of the day (evening?). He's really, really not.]
