So, you're browsing through the newspaper, either online or a physical copy. And you reach the Personal Ads section.

There are regular ads "lost dog", "free couch", "human male seeks alien lifeforms for science and friendship."

And then there is a blank space with the instructions "WRITE YOUR OWN."

SO. COBA CITIZENS. Write a classified ad, or reply to other people's classified ads.

That would work. I have always been somewhat fond of December.

When Grandfather isn't going crazy trying to make Christmas perfect, that is.

True. I have a feeling Grandfather would have to be very fussy if I had some anniversary on Christmas.

For a man who is extremely traditional, he has very Western ideas about the celebration of Christmas. Last year, he had Yakushiji-san stringing garlands for weeks.

I almost expect snow. It's tradition.

Hopefully not Dickensian ghosts, though. I do not need to know of Christmases past or yet to come.

Well, there was the year before my parents died that I decided I was going to help decorate the tree, and tried to climb it. Needless to say, it didn't end well.

Grandfather couldn't stop laughing. Mom and Dad, after making sure I was alright, weren't helping my embarrassment.

Well, now I need to see it.

It wasn't that amusing. I was quite angry. Although, I have been told I was adorable when I was tiny and angry.

Perhaps I can bring in a photo album if I go home from here. Mom liked to take pictures.

Grandfather took less pictures after Mom and Dad died, but oddly, Yakushiji-san took some. Something about documenting my growing-up years.

Now that I think about it, there is a picture in my parents' old room of me with the detective tools I made that Grandfather sent us to find.

I'd like to see the whole set together...

I still believe they are childish, however, I have had the thought to update them lately, to make them more sophisticated now that I'm older.
