Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

The gas station wasn't lacking its death goddess for very long. If Kanji lingered overly long at the station, he would get to see her there, a small smile on her face as she walked around one of the pumps, her fingers trailing along the metal box. It took Izanami a moment to realize someone was watching, and once she did she jerked her hand away, trying to pretend that she wasn't just caught being nostalgic over a gas pump.

"Ah... so good to see you are here as well, child."

No, of course not, who would be nostalgic about a gas pump. Seriously.

Kanji snorts. "You too, but I'll pass on the handshake."

A teasing smile came to Izanami's face. "Oh? But the power you could get from a shake of my hand would make things interesting."

She shook her head, clearly showing she was joking.

Well, it gets a laugh out of him, at least. "I think I'm good with my slice of it."

She chuckled at that, shaking her head.

"I've heard from Naoto... have you seen the others?"

Had he seen Souji? No, that was unfair; she was worried about the others as well.

"Souji and Yukiko-senpai. That's it so far. If we give it some time we'll know better, probably."

She... may have looked more than a little relieved at that. For the obvious reasons.

"I hope we are all present; we all deserve to be free of that place."

Kanji sighs. "No kidding. Maybe Yukiko can actually get some progress in without it bein' completely reset by the damn collars."

Naoto's issues, he has every confidence, will work out in time. Souji's issues had more to do with being alone, from what Kanji knows, and he definitely won't be here.

"Maybe we all can," Izanami corrected. Kanji may have been the most well adjusted of them, but they would all need to spend some time recovering after everything they went through.

"...Okay, fair. Last couple months've sucked for everybody."

At least the temperature here's off to a good start, and so are the possibilities for things to do. And the lack of collars. That's a plus for sure.

"Indeed," Izanami agreed, before looking down at her hands. She still maintained some of the healthy color to her skin, making her look less like something of the dead. Perhaps... it would be easy for her to conceal what she was here; they didn't need to know she had her power back, did they? As long as she maintained control over her appearance...

Like they won't guess. The Silence on Kanji's Persona is gone; ain't that big a leap from there to 'everyone's powers are back,' and that includes Izanami herself.

"Might even be somethin' around that'll help you... keep up appearances."

(Look, he doesn't particularly want to see her get all skeletony again either, okay?)

Izanami flinched at that; of course someone would call her out on such things. Of course.

"...please say nothing of it to the others," she said softly. "I rather they believe I've not regained my abilities after leaving the island."

Maybe more like of course Kanji would call her out. He's pretty quick to call people on their bullshit, and the time to be scared of pointing it out to a god (this god in particular) is long past.

"What, like they won't notice they're all back at full strength and figure you might be too? At the very least, Naoto's gonna figure it out. I'll let 'em come to you, but they're gonna come to you, more likely than not."

Izanami let out a faint noise at that.

"...would it not be better to believe that my abilities were permanently hindered after the island?" she asked, absently picking at her nails.

"...You're sayin' this to one'a the people who came after you because we couldn't settle for anything less than the truth. And the first person to actually ask you why you did what you did 'cause I couldn't let it sit if I had t'live with you. You tell me."

Kanji's got a pretty good version of Naoto's 'judging you' lineface down, by now.

"I am saying this to one that already know how it feels to want to hide part of themselves," she corrected.

And you can give her that lineface all you want; you do not scare her.

Nah, when he wants to go for scary, he gets louder. This is more of a 'get it together.'

"I never said don't. I just said we're all gonna know it's there sooner or later. And we'll help you keep it under wraps, just... pretendin' with us won't get you anywhere."

"Just..."

Izanami hesitated a moment, glancing away.

"...indulge me, for now. Just for now."

"For now."

But if the others say something, she shouldn't be surprised.
