Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

So. First order of business: That damnable collar's gone, and so's whatever Silence equivalent Atia had on his Persona. Kanji's inclined to call both of those good news. (If everyone else is around, anyway. The whole reason he kinda didn't want to go home was because his friends were so much... friendlier.)

Second order of business: This may not be Fuck Or Die Island, but it ain't Inaba either. Sure, it looks like the shopping district (kind of, sometimes), but. That loud asshole that's always by the shrine calling him a degenerate punk isn't there, and neither is his ma.

So, he knows where it's not, and when the tour gets announced he decides he might as well see where it is. There's a bus stop right where he expects it to be, across the street from a gas station (also right where he expects it to be, if Izanami-less at the moment).

After the tour, he figures he might as well grab some food, before drifting back in the direction of the textile shop. It might not be exactly home, but it'll work for now.

As he turns into the shopping district, standing in front of the textile shop staring slightly at the building is a very familiar figure in a very familiar outfit. It's almost reminiscent of another time that he came home, about a year previously.

Kanji stops short - which is also familiar, except this time it's because he's not sure whether to go for the hug or not. (The shoulder bag's a good sign, though.)

"Naoto?"

"Kanji!" At this point, Naoto doesn't particularly care if it is her Kanji that she loves or not, she needs a hug.

Running over to him, she throws her arms around him and hugs him tight, whispering in his ear. "Atia?"

"Good ol' Fuck Or Die Island." That calls for a pick-up-and-spin if anything does.

Naoto grins and squeaks a bit as he spins her. "Kanji! Put me down! I am attempting to be dignified in a new place, here!"

Orias doesn't need food to live, and his summoning here had left him well sated on what he does need, but he does enjoy food for the taste. Thus, one of the places he'd decided to check out after the bus tours were the restaurants.

Is it particularly crowded with all these new arrivals, or is there just hardly anywhere to sit? Either way, he finds himself standing in front of a table with two seats, one already occupied by a young man.

"Excuse me, may I sit down here?"

Don't mind the horns. And the tail. And the fact that he's not wearing a shirt.

Kanji barely glances at the other guy's lack of shirt (say what you will about Atia, but it's great for getting you over clothing hang-ups); the horns get a raised eyebrow, though.

He shrugs. "Go for it."

That might be the only possible good thing to come out of such a place. Orias would hate it with a passion.

"Thank you." He pulls out a chair and sets down his cup of tea and sandwich. "Are you new here as well?"

"Yeah. Still tryin' to find my bearings, but it's better than the last place."

Most things would be, though.

"The last place? It must be bad if a city you know hardly anything about is better."

He takes a sip of his tea. Not bad. It has good tea going for it, at least.

Well Kanji, when you head back over to the textile shop in this version of Inaba's shopping district, feel free to be confused by the woman staring at it in the bright pink Featherman costume with a frown on her face as she tries to make sense out of everything.

"I don't get it... this place is almost exactly like Inaba's shopping district." In fact, the only reason why she was pretty sure it wasn't was because a couple of kids had run by her before and didn't really react to the whole 'television superhero is on the street' thing. And considering that kids recognized her all the time even outside of the costume, well... that was a pretty big tell if there ever was one.

She does turn around just in time to see Kanji approaching, and she freezes, because, well... she doesn't know if he actually recognizes her or not. Then again, even if he did recognize her, that wouldn't mean anything. Naoto did say that she and Kanji watched her show, after all.

So she just went ahead and waved at him. "Umm... hi there. I don't supposed you'd know what's going on with this city, would you?"

...Okay, that is either one dedicated cosplay, or this place managed to scoop up someone who's on the show at a really damn inconvenient time.

"Not really? Just that it ain't where I was last but it ain't home either. Keeps changin', too. I think it's... trying to meet everyone halfway or somethin'." Which sounds weird, but after the TV thing and the Fuck Or Die Island thing, it also doesn't, really.

And it's the best explanation he has for why the bus was about twelve other things over the course of the tour.

Well, okay, that probably answered the question on if he recognized her. Or recognized her beyond 'star of kids tv show'. It wasn't like she was really surprised at this point, but still, it would've been nice to at least have one person from back home actually know who she was.

Oh well.

"Yeah, I've kinda... noticed the whole constantly changing thing. It's was really surprising. So far there isn't really anyone here who knows what's going on. At least as far as I can tell. Even time seems to be a bit messed up..."

"Time messed up? How so?"

You mean... more than there being nearly as many different continuities of his world as there are members of the group here?

Yeah. There was pretty much no reason not to at least get this part out of the way now. "Well, neither you or Naoto-kun recognize me beyond the fact that I'm in the current Featherman series," she said, before giving him a bit of an uneasy smile. "I mean, it's not like we suddenly became close friends or anything, but... the way we met kinda makes it hard to forget someone."

The gas station wasn't lacking its death goddess for very long. If Kanji lingered overly long at the station, he would get to see her there, a small smile on her face as she walked around one of the pumps, her fingers trailing along the metal box. It took Izanami a moment to realize someone was watching, and once she did she jerked her hand away, trying to pretend that she wasn't just caught being nostalgic over a gas pump.

"Ah... so good to see you are here as well, child."

No, of course not, who would be nostalgic about a gas pump. Seriously.

Kanji snorts. "You too, but I'll pass on the handshake."

A teasing smile came to Izanami's face. "Oh? But the power you could get from a shake of my hand would make things interesting."

She shook her head, clearly showing she was joking.

Well, it gets a laugh out of him, at least. "I think I'm good with my slice of it."

She chuckled at that, shaking her head.

"I've heard from Naoto... have you seen the others?"

Had he seen Souji? No, that was unfair; she was worried about the others as well.

Don't mind your classmate, Kanji. She's just here in the shopping district, jumping up and down in front of the copy of her grandmother's store and laughing.

She knows she's not really home, but this is a damn sight of an improvement over Atia.

"You know it ain't actually home, right?"

It's worth making sure, because he can see where the mistake'd be easy to make.

"I'd be this happy just to see a picture of it after six months on that stupid island!" Rise explains.

She stops herself from running up and hugging the door. Barely.

"Hey, have you been inside your place yet? How much detail did this place get on the insides?"

"I did, yeah - only thing missing is Ma." He's... not sure what to make of that.

"At least I'll have somethin' to do. What about you, gonna try to make tofu all by yourself?"
