Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

Well, darn. That definitely was Seta, and he totally didn't know who she was. Sure, okay, she didn't really know any of his group all that well, but still, she was hoping that at least one of them would know who she was.

Either way, she's going to relax a bit now that she knows for sure, can't help but let out a nervous giggle at that statement from him. "Yeah. It definitely beats a helicopter, anyway." Or at least it beats a helicopter being piloted towards a fight with tons of Shadow duplicates of each other and the end of the world.

Still, seeing the city from up here just showed just how weird it was. Nothing really seemed like it was meant to go together at all. Which was apparently the point of the place, but it was still odd.

"I like the feel of the wind in my hair," he concedes agreeably. Craning his neck to see as much as he can, he still politely avoids invading her personal space too much, conscientious even when distracted. But he does notice... she seems to be paying particular attention to him.

"Seta Souji," he says after a moment, almost an afterthought, offering her his hand.

Well, that just confirmed one thing for her, at least. She takes his hand, and forces a smile to her lips. "Yukari Takeba," she said. "It's nice to meet you. And... just a little bit weird."

Wait, that wasn't really a good thing to say, which meant that she probably needed to mention to whole time/whatever stuff that's going on right now. "... Sorry. I kinda met you once back home, and it wasn't really under the type of circumstances that you'd actually forget people under."

His eyes widen in surprise. "Yukari-san," he says, in startled recognition. "Ah... I'm embarrassed now. It's been... a very long time, for me. You wore your hair differently then. And... I don't think the you I remember is you, any more than the me you remember is me, because neither one of us were home when I met you."

This is a phenomenon he's been exposed to before, though from not quite this angle. From startlement, he shifts to an earnest smile, and then flushes, just a little, at the little wealth of memory unearthed.

Okay. Wow. Until this moment, she didn't realize just how weird it was to be on the receiving end of this whole timeline screw up whatever thing. Still, it would've been a lot weirder if she didn't know who Souji was already. And she can't help but admit that she's a little bit curious about just where he was when they had actually met for him.

And... he's blushing too. Even weirder.

"Well... this just got a little bit awkward. Just how long has it been since you last saw... the other me, anyway?"

He takes a breath, counting on his fingers a moment before he's sure, nodding as he finishes the count. "Two and a half years," he says. "The middle of January."

The truth was, they'd avoided one another a lot because of the awkward way they met, but it was possible... "I might still have a box of your things at my house," he says, in startled realization.

"Two and a half years?" Yukari asked, though really, repeating what he said wasn't really the smartest thing that she could've done. But... wow. That's.... how? That last part though causes her to pause before asking something else for a moment. He just said that that other Yukari probably wasn't her, but... maybe she should go and take a look at that stuff anyway? It could've been things that she had brought from home before she ended up... wherever Souji had ended up.

"I... I guess I should go take a look at that stuff sometime," she said. "Did you house end up coming with you when you showed up here though?"

"It did, actually," he answered, smiling a little at the thought of it. "I guess we all got pretty lucky - but with seven of us showing up from the same place at the same time, maybe the city just needed a place to put us." He paused in thought for a moment, glancing over at her. "... May I ask where we know each other from in your timeline? I imagine it's something... pretty different."

"... You're from the same place that Kanji-san and Naoto-kun are from, aren't you?" Yukari asked. At least, she had to assume that, because how else would all of Souji's friends have come from the same place when two of them were from... that place.

Of course, if that was true and Souji did know her from there... Yukari was really glad now that she hadn't pressed Kanji for more details once he mentioned that whole 'sex goddess' thing. Whatever was involved there was something that she didn't want to know at all.

"Honestly, we didn't really know each other that well. An incident involving shadows and something claiming to be a god that wanted to end the world happened in Inaba during Golden Week, and Mitsuru and some of the others were kidnapped, so I ended up going in with some others as backup to help out and stop it."

Wait, there was one more important detail to mention. "Oh... umm, I'm also a Persona user. In case the other me you met never got around to mentioning that part."

He nods in answer to her first question, listening with interest, but goes a little still s she continues into the really surprising parts. Not the Shadows and the end of the world - in Inaba that almost goes without saying. But the rest...

"...It probably slipped her mind," he answers faintly, wide-eyed. Yukari-san was... ah. "I never discussed it with her, so neither of us knew..." he pauses, thinking about what he remembers of her. "If you don't mind my asking... your Persona. It's the Lovers Arcana, right?"

Yukari nodded. "Well... I guess it just didn't have a chance to come up then. I mean, if I hadn't already met you back home, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it either. It's not exactly supposed to be common knowledge." She was pretty sure that he wouldn't usually tell her that either, so... yeah.

That last part does get her to look at him a bit oddly though, frowning. "And yeah, that is my Arcana. Should I be worried that you were so easily able to guess that?"

"I'm a pretty good guesser, when it comes to that. And since I had time to get to know you in another world... it's what made the most sense to me." He nodded, decisively.

"I hope we can be friends again here, Yukari-san."

"... I guess you must know the arcana pretty well," she said. Part of her still wasn't completely happy about how Souji knew her, but she had to admit it was better than him not recognizing her.

"I don't think you're going to have to worry too much about us becoming friends," Yukari said, smiling at him. "I mean, we've already managed it a bit once before, right?"

"Well, I'd hope we'll have an easy time of it... but I don't like to make assumptions," he says. "Still. Once the tour's done here, I can show you where we're staying right now, and if you'd like to look through your other self's things, or just to come over and say hello to everyone, you're welcome to."

Yukari nodded. "Sure. I mean, if we're going to be getting to know each other, I should probably have some idea of where you are." And where... apparently everyone was. It was probably something she should've asked the others when she talked to them, but it was too late to do much about that now.

And hey, better to go there with him than to just wander around and try to see if there was anyone here who actually recognized 'her' her, instead of another her.

"I wonder if we can see it from here," he mused after a moment, leaning out and craning his neck as he surveyed the cityscape, looking for one brown-shingled roof that might or might not stand out among the others. As he did, though, the carpet began to descend again in a slow, smooth curve, and he leaned back after a moment with a sigh, letting the breeze fluff his hair, and glanced again at Yukari. This place... definitely made things interesting.

Yukari almost laughed at his antics, but... for all she knew, there really was a good chance that they could see his place from up there. At least until the carpet started to move down already.

"Huh. I didn't think it was going to be over already," she said. "I... kinda stopped paying attention to where we were going halfway through."

"I'll take that as a compliment," he answered with a smile, waited as they drifted to a halt, and offered her his hand as he stepped off the carpet, floating a safe measure of inches off the ground. "This way?"

Yukari grabbed his hand without a second thought before getting off of the carpet before pulling away. "Sure. I mean, it'd be just a little bit hard for me to lead the way, wouldn't it?"

"That's a good point," he says, as if the observation was a profound one, and leads on. The walk is brief, and before long they're standing before a large, Mediterranean-style house in the midst of a rural Japanese neighborhood.

Yukari can't help but smile just a little bit when she sees his house... and how it's totally out of place in the middle of everything. "I guess Coba's not really all that big on making sure everything it pulls looks like it matches together, is it?"

"Maybe not... but it all looks like home to me."

Unlocking the door and gesturing her insider, they're greeted in the front hall by three curious cats, who Souji identifies as Amaterasu, Tsukimoi, and Susano-O as he bends down to scritch them, before leading her into the spacious living room, where the stairs curle up towards the second story.

"This way."

Yukari blinked at the cats as they came over to them, but it wasn't for long before she was smiling at them. Those were some pretty interesting names, and she moves to follow after him.

"Huh. I... I know I didn't really get a chance to know you that well back home, but I didn't realize you'd be such a cat person."

"I like to think of myself as more of a domestic human."

At the top of the stairs, there's a closet, and on its top shelf, when he opens it, is a single large cardboard box, sealed tight with packing tape. One corner has broken open enough for the corner of a heavy pink comforter to escape. On the side, it reads 'Yukari' in romaji.

Okay, when Souji had said that he had some of her stuff, she hadn't really been expecting her bedding from whenever she had been at wherever he had been to have been part of that. Still, she tries not to show her reaction too much when she grabs the box from him, though she can't help herself from asking more about it.

"So... umm... how exactly did you end up getting my stuff anyway?"
