So, you're browsing through the newspaper, either online or a physical copy. And you reach the Personal Ads section.

There are regular ads "lost dog", "free couch", "human male seeks alien lifeforms for science and friendship."

And then there is a blank space with the instructions "WRITE YOUR OWN."

SO. COBA CITIZENS. Write a classified ad, or reply to other people's classified ads.

That could work. You might get a lot of people who have lost their keys or cats, however.

Then again, you would probably enjoy finding cats.

It's been strange to get up every day and not have anywhere I need to be.

I can understand that feeling. Whenever I solve a case, there are a couple days to a week that I feel a bit at loose ends.

Well, other than the one time where I had three cases in a row. That was... frustrating.

Oddly, I think I only ever had one. It's likely back in the Estate somewhere with my first copy of Sherlock Holmes. I called it my 'reading cap' when I was eight.

I cheated, actually. Grandfather had to go to London for a case. He brought me back one.

If I ever end up in Victorian London here, I'll get two. I wouldn't be surprised, to be honest.

Hm. I bet I could work something up to make it auto-bubble.

Although, when is our anniversary? I, er, got a bit lost on dates on the island.

I suppose the question is, anniversary of what?

That is a good point. I'm not sure. Anniversary of when we met? Of being together? There are actually a few options.

When she arrived on the island, and they shared their first kiss.

That would work. I have always been somewhat fond of December.

When Grandfather isn't going crazy trying to make Christmas perfect, that is.

I think Rise-chan laid claim to that anniversary.

True. I have a feeling Grandfather would have to be very fussy if I had some anniversary on Christmas.

For a man who is extremely traditional, he has very Western ideas about the celebration of Christmas. Last year, he had Yakushiji-san stringing garlands for weeks.

I almost expect snow. It's tradition.

Hopefully not Dickensian ghosts, though. I do not need to know of Christmases past or yet to come.

Well, there was the year before my parents died that I decided I was going to help decorate the tree, and tried to climb it. Needless to say, it didn't end well.

Grandfather couldn't stop laughing. Mom and Dad, after making sure I was alright, weren't helping my embarrassment.

Well, now I need to see it.

It wasn't that amusing. I was quite angry. Although, I have been told I was adorable when I was tiny and angry.
