DESCRIPTION: CITY TOUR MINGLE!

Maybe you stayed in Coba, maybe you went home and came back, or maybe this is your first time here, but everyone is suddenly greeted to a friendly, female voice over an intercom (or maybe it's a some other device? Depending on where you're from)

"Welcome citizens. We hope you're enjoying your visit! Transport will leave in twenty minutes for the Coba city-wide tour!"

If you follow the voice, you'll find yourself at a bus stop. Or is it a fancy monorail? A carriage? A couple of horses? Coba is flexible and will change herself to suit you, after all. And if you get left behind, don't worry! There's free cabs anywhere in the city, who also will be more than happy to give you their own version of the tour.

The Coba city-wide tour boasts an hour of informative information regarding Coba's most important locations, some extra brochures (with some extra savings in there, of course), and will finally return you to the place you left from.

Of course, maybe the tour isn't for you. After all, the party is still going on, and now Coba's businesses are really beginning to open and advertise what they have to offer. Have you checked out the free hotel room? Or maybe you're grabbing a free meal? Or maybe, just maybe - you're looking into an apartment!

Either way, Coba hopes you've been enjoying yourselves. She has so much to offer you.

It's an odd thought, though.

I wasn't thinking of him, no, but that's not what I meant by brainwaves. I don't think it works by conscious thought.

Shouldn't we have seen more influence from you, then?

"Not usually. Thank you for the concern."

Orias doesn't often take flying carpets places - they exist in the demon world, he just rarely sees reasons to use them. So the shift isn't as strange as it could be.

It's still a bus turning into a flying carpet, though, so it's still weird.

"What about you?"

I believe that was a recorded message.

[That's from what he knows of human technology, circa 2015ish. He could be wrong, of course - he's beginning to doubt this is a human city at all.]

It's hard for Orias to tell people who are aimlessly wandering from those who have somewhere to go. ...Mostly because he doesn't leave bedrooms much, in the human world.

"Excuse me. Are you a local to this city, or a visitor?"

Hello to you too. [That's clearly directed at the Pixie.] May I ask both of your names? I'm Orias.

[No, not that Orias.]

"As will I. I didn't think anything was strange with my summoning at first, but even if I plan to investigate more, I'd rather have the comfort of knowing that I can go home."

It would make him feel much safer.

'Cosplay' again? Those are real.

...Not comfortable talking about piercings?

"I wouldn't know. It looked like both a place that definitely isn't in a human world and like a human city."

That mention of summoning makes her curious. It's only more proof that he isn't human. She asks, "So, what manner of being're you?"

She doesn't mention that she's a horror. Even reformed, that tends to alarm people unnecessarily.

"An incubus." He appreciates being straightforward about this. "And you?"

Incubus? That sounds like someone from the Pink World.

"Ah, I'm an ordinary mother. Okay, not so ordinary. But I'm harmless! Even though I'm a horror and all."

Bright and cheerful is the way to go for a revelation like this. It tends to help disarm people. Besides, it just doesn't do to lie! Neglect mentioning it, perhaps, but she was just asked point blank.

Unfortunately, Orias has zeroed in on the weird part of that statement.

"When you say you're a horror, what do you mean, exactly? I haven't heard that term before."

How unexpected. He hadn't heard of horrors? They were bogeymen even in the other worlds. "Well, they're the residents of the Red World and they aren't very nice! They don't know any morality and hurt each other and anyone else they come across."

"I see..." That was a strange thing to just tell someone you were. "But you're not like that, you say?"

"That's right! I usually don't tell people about my nature, but you asked me directly and it isn't nice to lie!"

One of the first things Sugar had done once she found herself in an unfamiliar city was try to find a way back home. Once she'd done that and checked on her child, she had gone for another walk and found herself in Coba again. It's quite a strange place, but not being trapped in it relieved her.

Now she's carrying a huge (more than half her height) bag of assorted candy she'd bought from a store here, occasionally taking one out to stuff into her mouth as she waits at the monorail stop. She says out loud to herself, "I do wonder what lies beyond this city's facade!"

It would seem so. I had gone outside to train but...

[Well, here she was. She settles into the seat with a cheerful smile herself. She wasn't complaining in the least either. It wasn't often she got to take trips after all. Tsukigata could get by without her for a day.

The Pixie meanwhile settles on the top edge of the seat between the pair, kicking her little feet as she does so.]

Eeeeh, you're in a good mood!

[There's some luck in the fact that Orias isn't a common demon to her. ~~At least not in her timeline.~~ Pixie strikes up the conversation first because hey there cutie.]

I'm Pixie!

[She waves merrily.]

I'm Nagi.

My, how adorable!

[Sugar's been distracted by the pixie. It isn't often she sees such tiny beings, particularly such cute ones. But then she remembers she was asked a question.]

Why, no, I don't mind! Company's always perfectly welcome!

Invisible lady? Was there one here?

[She had listened to the intercom and gone on the tour which was interesting! But she hadn't heard anything about invisible women.]

Thank you.

[She settles down beside Sugar and the Pixie atop her head seems pleased.]

See, see, you can be cute sometimes too.

I believe she was speaking to you.
