WHO: You! And you, and you, and even you!
WHERE: All over Coba!
WHEN: Day 4, noon and onwards
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you find the scenery in front of you suddenly shifting, the world turning into a giant blur for all of a few seconds. You might feel a bit of vertigo, but nothing too serious, especially if you've been here for long enough to get used to it.
When it returns to normal, you might find that some places have moved, others have popped up in their place. An entire neighborhood blending into part of a busy city street, for example, or a foreign shopping district where some of Coba's smaller shops once stood.
Main street, where all the excitement happens, has gone over something of a change as well. There are a number of small, vendor stalls scattered down the road, all advertising something different - EDUCATION, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT . . . and one labeled COBASPIRACIES that the other vendors seem to be shooting dirty looks at.
Er. In any case, come see what the excitement is all about, explore the new and moved locations, or grab some of the free food that has been happily placed out for anyone wandering down main street.
(There'll be a few NPC top levels, but feel free to make your own! There's also this post for if/when you decide to place a location somewhere! Have fun. ♥)

EMPLOYMENT
. . . even if . . . it involves THAT stall]

Scientist with a strong focus on smart tech. What'd you got?

So really he's set on employment and housing, and he doesn't give a shit about the education thing - maybe eventually, if anyone can convince him he's smart enough to give it a shot and the whole thing doesn't hinge on one test. And he managed to grab transit schedules without getting sucked into conspiracy theory hour. (He's... not sure he'd wanna chance a subway in a place that changes time periods as easily as it changes everything else, so hopefully 'metro' means aboveground trains...)
But he does actually have a question about the employment thing.
"So do I gotta do anything fancy if a business showed up with me?"
no subject
He nods in the direction of a few businesses that sat near where they had set up for the day. "Licences are a slightly different story, for places that require them, but if you need one, all it takes is a trip to the city hall and they'll help you out."

"I have a question. The shopping district from my home seems to have arrived, and I seem to find myself in possession of a detective agency. Are there any specific permits or licences I would need for that? Would I need to speak to the police department? And if so, where even is it?"
no subject
He leans back and smiles. "If you're carrying, then you should stop by and see what they need from you. It shouldn't take too long, though - it never does."

EDUCATION
no subject
So... y'all've got colleges here too?
no subject
There's a university, and a smaller college that offers specialized training, for certificates and things like that.

HOUSING
Even if you don't approach, you might be approached by one of two small children who are very well-behaved and helping their mom hand out flyers.]

It would seem I'm very uneducated in housing choices.

COBASPIRACIES
... there's a pile of neglected flyers in the corner with the metro system map and bus schedule. BUT WHO CARES WHEN THERE'S ALIENS???]

Re: COBASPIRACIES
Either way, she's going to try to inch towards the metro filers and get one of those maps while trying to avoid the whole alien talking weirdo.
... Even if some of the stuff that she's been through would make his theories sound sane. It still probably wasn't if it was coming from him. ]

And found it deserted.
Of course.
Don't mind her if she helps herself to the stockroom. If she remembered correctly, Matt had kept vervain in the back corner and it was probably best to put it somewhere...it couldn't be used.
Well, against them anyway. ]

The door's already open, so he clearly wasn't the first one to find it. Cautiously stepping inside, he takes off his wrist-watch and tries to discern anything unusual or different about the place. Nothing's springing to mind.
So he wanders towards the back, and tilts his head ever-so-slightly at Caroline.] Hey. Didn't think they'd bring this place back too.
